How to Submit
Submitting a story is easy and free. Just follow
the guidelines below.
Stories must be less than 200 words (not
including the title). Why 200 words? Writing short stories is often
times a challenging task. Whittling those stories down to less than
200 words takes that to an even more demanding level. These stories
can be daunting to think about in the beginning, but as you develop
different ideas the rewards are truly remarkable.
Email your story to
submissions@justalittlefiction.com. Do not attach any documents.
No emails will be opened that contain an attachment. Paste your story
into the body of the email. Include any information you would like
posted with your story. You can use your real name or a fictional one.
If you'd like your age and gender posted with the story, include that
as well. For the subject use: Submission: Title of the Work. For
example:
Submission: Only One
Heart Left
Any topic is accepted. No entries with vulgar
language or graphic sex/violence will be used. Humor, horror, mystery,
romance, love, fantasy and everything in between will be accepted.
Have fun and surprise us! If you'd like a genre included with your
story, please send in the body of the email along with other
information and the story.
Don't worry about the tense. You can use any you
like (past, present, etc.).
Proofread your stories! Stories with massive
spelling and grammatical issues will not be considered for a daily
spot.

and cannot be previously published. There will be no payment of any
kind to any contributing author.
